About Us

The Delaware Council of Wildlife Rehabilitators and Educators (DCWRE) is a diverse group of volunteers of all age groups and experience levels who come together to help the wildlife of Delaware. They share their experience with one another and promote wildlife awareness within the state. DCWRE is an incorporated 501(c)(3) non-profit organization registered in the state of Delaware. It was established in 1995 to care for sick, injured and abandoned wildlife with the goal of returning them to the wild.

We are supported by annual membership dues and public donations.
